Province of British Columbia Proclaims “International Collector Car Appreciation Days” in July 2022

Three cheers for British Columbia!  Thanks to the efforts of the Specialty Vehicle Association of British Columbia (SVABC) and the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada (NAACC), the province is once again designating “Collector Car Appreciation Day” (CCAD) and “International Collector Car Appreciation Day” on July 8-9, 2022. Held concurrently, the province is also declaring the month of July as “Automotive Heritage Month” and “Collector Car Appreciation Month.”

Since 2010, the U.S. Congress has introduced resolutions at the request of the SEMA Action Network (SAN) to acknowledge CCAD, which serves to raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society. This year’s national celebration is scheduled for Friday, July 8th.

Make your plans to get involved. A wide range of automotive-related events, like car shows, cruise-ins and parades, will be held in support of this annual celebration. The SAN is maintaining the official list. Plan and submit your July event at no cost, locate a listing near you and more by visiting the website.
