New Sales Tax Process
Just received confirmation that if the vehicle being purchased is 1999 or older there is no requirement for an appraisal to confirm sale price for taxation value.
1999 & older and Collector Plated vehicles will be handled the same as they have been for years, prior to this new change in the tax procedure.
NO APPRAISAL REQUIRED FOR 1999 and older. We confirmed this with a Manager at ICBC

Interpretation can get confusing whenever major changes take place.
