This is a result of ongoing reviews and feedback we’ve received.
On September 4, 2024, our Vehicle Registration Services department will be releasing a digital version of the Stock Collector Motor Vehicle Application (MV1425) form. The intent of this change is to improve the user experience for our customers.
As part of this initiative, enhancements also include the following:
- Increasing self-serve options for our customers enabling them to submit their Collector Motor Vehicle Application electronically. The digital form includes tool tips and links to information on icbc.com.
- Removing the requirement to mail in a hard copy of the application form.
- Enhancements to the information available on icbc.com include a new “vanity URL” for the form, making it easier to locate information on ICBC.com (icbc.com/collector).
- Customers will now be able to complete the form online and attach the required documents and/or photos as required.
We understand some of our customers may prefer to still use the existing PDF form. As a result, we have maintained the existing MV 1425 PDF form and on September 3, 2024, will be publishing an updated version.
